Choosing a photographer to attend your event or spend time around your family is a HUGE decision! I want to make sure you feel completely ready before hiring Mingo Moments to capture your moments. I’ve collected a handful of questions that are commonly asked, but if you don’t see yours here, don’t worry. Just reach out, and we can see if Mingo Moments will be a good fit for you!
It is completely up to you whether you order prints of your images after your event. Most event photography clients do choose to order prints, but it’s your decision, and your decision alone. There is no pressure from my side to include prints in your package!
Please do not screenshot your images! I know it’s so exciting to see them and want to share them right away. However, screenshots are a violation of copyright law and do not accurately reflect the quality of my work. When you screenshot an image from ANYWHERE you are getting a much smaller, compressed, file than the original. This is why screenshots always look more grainy and lose resolution.
Absolutely! If you have a clothing piece or accessory that you think would be a great fit for the Mingo Moments Client Closet, I’d love to see it.
I may be able to offer a photography service credit or discount in exchange for pieces that are a good fit for the closet. The value of the credit or discount will depend on the item and its potential use.

You mean, what if they act like kids? I’m sure they will! And it’s completely okay! If they’re comfortable to be themself with me and my camera there, that’s fabulous! We will laugh, play games, run around, and take breaks when needed. I promise you, it does not bother me and I love seeing it!
Trust me, you do NOT want EVERY single photo I take! I take LOTS of extra to make sure we capture the best moments…there are usually a lot of duplicates. I go through them one by one to make sure you are delivered the very best ones.
In a perfect world, if you try to book 1-2 months in advance for family sessions, there should be no problems! However, this is dependent on the season. Spring gets quite busy for me with baseball and end of school things. The sooner you book, the more dates you’ll have to choose from. But it never hurts to reach out no matter what! I am more happy to see if we can make any last-minute plans.
Always try to book it BEFORE baby gets here. Once baby is born, its hard enough to text people back sometimes…and then all of a sudden that newborn is a toddler. The sweet spot is to book when you are 28-34 weeks. Obviously we won’t have an exact session date, you don’t even have an exact due date. Due Dates are just guesses. I am always sure to reserve time around your estimated due date. Once baby is here, you’ll confirm with me.
