At Mingo Moments Photography, my goal is to make it easy for you to enjoy your memories while also protecting the time, creativity, and care that goes into creating them. This page explains your image rights, what your purchase includes, and how your photographs may be used.
All photographs created by Mingo Moments Photography remain the intellectual property of Mingo Moments Photography and are protected by United States Copyright Law (Title 17, United States Code).
Purchasing digital images or prints does not transfer copyright ownership. Instead, clients receive a limited personal-use license as outlined below.
The purchase of digital images includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license allows unlimited printing and sharing for personal use while Mingo Moments Photography retains all copyrights to the images.
Your personal-use license allows you to:
• Print photographs in any size or quantity for personal use.
• Create albums, wall art, canvas prints, holiday cards, graduation announcements, invitations, and similar personal projects.
• Display photographs in your home.
• Share photographs with family and friends.
• Post photographs on personal social media accounts.
• Store your images on personal computers, phones, tablets, cloud storage, or personal websites/blogs.
• Crop or resize images as needed for printing or displaying.
Without written permission from Mingo Moments Photography, you may not:
• Sell, license, or otherwise profit from the images.
• Use the images for commercial, promotional, advertising, or business purposes.
• Enter photographs into contests, publications, magazines, or stock photography websites.
• Create logos, trademarks, or branding using the images.
• Claim copyright ownership or register the images as your own.
• Alter the artistic appearance of the images through filters, AI editing, retouching, color changes, graphic overlays, or other modifications.
• Use the images in any unlawful, defamatory, or obscene manner.
Unless otherwise requested, Mingo Moments Photography reserves the right to use photographs from sessions for:
• Portfolio displays
• Website galleries
• Social media
• Marketing and advertising
• Educational purposes
If you prefer that your images not be used for future promotional purposes, you may update your preferences at any time by submitting a written request.
Delivered galleries remain available for approximately one year from your session date.
Clients are responsible for downloading and safely backing up their purchased digital images immediately after delivery. While every effort is made to preserve files during this period, long-term archival storage is not guaranteed.
